Since we're on the subject of sanity, I think it would be appropriate to recollect some previous discussions in this thread (I apologize in
advance to those who might be new to the forum, and who haven't read the post above yet, but I think you should know who you're dealing with anyway).
I'm leaving this forum (I know, I know, I'm happy about it myself), but for the road, let me (as always) summarize. I have a rule of answering anything addressed to me, however the message above turned out to be an exception. I could not answer it: first, because it was low beyond my reach, second, I do not have a license to practice psychiatry. But as you can read, this message was written on behalf of the members of this forum, and I expected that somebody would be, if not insulted, then at least embarrassed to be represented this way. However, nobody objected. In contrary, there were clear indications of it being supported. It was demonstratively interpreted as "my head being handed to me". In other words, the validity of both the form and content of that message has never been questioned or doubted by anybody
in this forum. I received several private messages, before and after this post, most of them were complimentary or even flattering. But none of the authors of those messages dared to say anything positive about me openly in this forum. I myself, privately approached one of the members who hasn't participated in any discussions which I was involved in, and asked what he honestly thinks. I've never received any response, which is an answer in itself; it tells a lot about this person.
All in all, there was not a single person in this forum who demonstrated adequate common sense, dignity, and honesty (there was one exception, but he can hardly be considered a member).
I DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT KIND OF PHRASE TO DEFINE THE MORAL STATE OF THE MEMBERS OF THIS FORUM.
So I'm stepping out.
I DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT KIND OF PHRASE TO DEFINE THE MORAL STATE OF THE MEMBERS OF THIS FORUM.
So I'm stepping out.
And taking 3 more steps:
1) In the very nearest time, I will present the documentary story of my membership in RKOP,
chronologically, accurately, and with additional explanatory comments, in a new site specially created for it. Of course it will be very easy for anyone to check whether I am contorting or falsifying the facts. Any substantiated objections to the content will be added to the text right away.
2) This site will be turned into a forum, the theme of which will be: "The Members of RKOP As They Are". I think it can be very interesting and definitely educational for some outsiders, especially ones who are interested in social studies, to learn first hand the phenomenon of a mob-like gathering of full-time groupies, permanently observing them in their natural habitat, and exchange the results of this observation. The RKOP members can consider it some kind of "mirror forum" within which they can get a side view of themselves.

3) I will start making links to this new forum, bringing the general public to it, and gradually turn it into an online
reality talk show. My Jane Goodall-ish experience can be a good introduction, acquainting the audience with the key cast members. Some of you might even attain a greater recognition than Jason himself.
